Ludlow Racecourse Results – 2 April 2015

Ludlow

Spectators were given a taste of summer at Ludlow Racecourse on Thursday 2 April thanks to the warm, sunny weather. Despite the warm conditions, however, the going was soft (good to soft in places). Here is a quick roundup of those UK horse racing results.

First in the schedule was the 14:30 Novices Hurdle, which was won by joint-favourite Slowfoot (6/4) ahead of fellow favourite Jack Frost (6/4). A Good Skin then won the 15:00 Handicap Chase as favourite at 13/8. Broxbourne was marked the third-straight favourite winner at 2/5 in the 15:30 Mares Novices Hurdle.

Rio Milan (5/1) then managed to break the streak of favourites by winning the 16:00 Handicap Chase in front of favourite It’s A Steal (5/2). Next, Bombadero 2/1 registered the fourth favourite win of the day in the 16:30 Handicap Hurdle. Tugboat (8/1) took the 17:00 and Murrayana (5/2) took the 17:30.

Haydock Park Speed Ratings – 4 April 2015

Haydock

Haydock Park will draw a happy crowd of spectators to enjoy some horse racing this Easter weekend. Because of the showers forecast for Saturday 4 April, the going is expected to be soft. That could shake things up a little among the runners.

The latest daily speed figures come from the Racing Post, with the focus being on the 13:25 Novices Limited Handicap Chase. Runners will be aged five years or older and competing for a share of the £10,000 prize fund.

In viewing the speed figures for the 13:25, it is clear that Village Vic (7/2) is the quickest prospect with a speed rating of 147. The eight-year-old also has the highest Racing Post rating, which is 154.

The joint-favourite for the race is Ifandbutwhynot at 7/2. Comparatively, the nine-year-old has a speed rating of 136 and Racing Post rating of 147. Village Vic appears to have the edge between these favourites.

Slotaway Casino gives you a site that is fundamentally powered by IGT software, which is not as common as you might think. Quite often, casinos will merely integrate IGT slots alongside their other games. But before diving into the games, first it is important to note that the UK Gambling Commission and Alderney Gambling Control Commission have licensed Slot Away Casino for operation.

Games

The largest portion of the review is devoted to the games, which makes complete sense because they provide a million reasons for signing up. Like we mentioned above, Slotaway operates on an IGT casino software platform. That ensures that players have access to hugely popular slots in the form Siberian Storm, Cleopatra, and Rainbow Riches. IGT does so much more than slots. You can also find table game favourites such as blackjack, craps, baccarat and roulette. For a change of pace, you can also spend time with video poker and instant-win games. Additionally, progressive jackpots will let you play for thousands or sometimes millions of pounds in prize money. Continuing with the games, it is vital to point out that Slotaway is a multi-developer casino. The presence of Microgaming slots alongside those of IGT means that you will have a more diverse selection. The most notable Microgaming slots to ever be released include Thunderstruck, Avalon, Girls with Guns, the Dark Knight, Playboy, and Jurassic Park. Your gaming experience will not end at desktop, with mobile compatibility offered for the latest Android and Apple smartphones and tablets. Play a few hands in table games or spin the reels of your favourite mobile slots. Slotaway Mobile Casino can be accessed from mobile web browsers. For a completely different experience, enter the live casino to play table games hosted by human dealers broadcast in impeccable standards. The current live dealer games give you the choice of baccarat, blackjack, and roulette. Craps is slightly too complex for the live dealer platform.

Promotions

A limited promotional selection unfortunately takes away from the impressive gaming experience. Slotaway will introduce you with a £250 welcome bonus, but the only other regular promotion is the Diamond VIP Club, which rewards player loyalty. From time to time, there can be the odd cashback promotion or prize draw, but these have to become more frequent. Off the top of our heads, one sure-fire way to improve the selection would be to offer a Slotaway no deposit bonus. In the current online casino market, players have a frighteningly large range of options. Therefore, it is crucial for casino sites to realise that players do not want to risk their hard earned cash. A no deposit bonus allows them to play for free and test out the games without any risks.

Payments

Deposits can be made anywhere from £10 to £1,000, and you can do so with VISA, VISA Debit, VISA Electron, Maestro, or MasterCard. At the time of review (spring 2015), Slotaway offers zero coverage for e-wallets or e-vouchers. This simply has to change moving forward. For payment protection, there is SSL encryption. FC Porto Depart Portuguese Carlsberg Cup

carlsberg cup

Yesterday’s matches were sorely lacking in quality, but eagle-eyed fans will have spotted an enticing betting prospect in the form of the Maritimo vs. FC Porto clash in the Carlsberg Cup on Thursday 3 April. However, the outcome is a shining example of why you should not go backing games where you are unfamiliar with the teams.

Since the start of the century, Porto have made waves in Europe by winning the Champions League and two UEFA Cup/Europa League trophies. As a result, many bettors feel that they can simply dip into Portuguese football for an easy bet. That was not the case on this occasion.

Porto opened the scoring in 32nd minute with a goal from Goebel Evandro, meeting the expectations of many onlookers. However, a penalty from Bruno Gallo in the 37th minute levelled the cup-tie. Morussa Marega then won the game in the 45th minute, with 2-1 being the final score.
