Bank holiday Monday (25 May) was a joyous one for Norwich City fans, who get to celebrate knowing that their team will play in the Premier League next season. The Canaries beat Middlesbrough 2-0 to make the step up.

On a quiet day for UK football results last night, more than 85,000 were at Wembley Stadium to see the game. And they did not have to wait long to see goals.

After playing with the best defence in the league for the entire season, the Playoff final was the worst time to start making mistakes. Nevertheless, Middlesbrough were unable to prevent Norwich striker Cameron Jerome from scoring after 12 minutes.

Conceding so early was a major blow for a Middlesbrough side that struggled to score at times this season. The pressure got to them not long after the first goal –winger Nathan Redmond gave Norwich a comfortable 2-0 lead for the rest of the game.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny for race fans at Kempton Park’s all-weather track and its Polytrack surface. After checking out the latest daily speed figures from the Racing Post, a couple of enticing prospects have jumped out at us.

Starting with the best prospect, you should check out the 81-rated Fit The Bill in the 20:10 Handicap. The three-year-old is rated quickest of the eight runners and has won two of his past three races, finishing second in the other. No other horses come close for speed or form.

Another decent prospect is the 87-rated Jubilee Brig in the 19:40 Handicap. The five-year-old will be ridden by the experienced Adam Kirby and has exhibited pretty good form of late. Two wins and a second from five races is a decent return in horse racing. Jubilee Brig will face tough competition from the 13 other runners.
