On a day when the going is expected to be soft (good to soft in places), the conditions could be a challenge. For in-depth analysis, we look to the daily speed figures just released by the Racing Post.

Nine runners in all will compete for the £25,000 prize fund in the 15:50 Handicap. Bancnuanaheireann has the quickest rating at 105, winning once in its past three races. God Willing is rated the second quickest at 99.

Immediately following the 15:50 Handicap is the 16:20 Nottinghamshire Oaks Stakes, in which 14 runners will compete for £42,000. Groovejet is rated quickest at 107, but hasn’t won in six races. Although rated 85, Dream Child has managed three wins from its past six races.
