Carlisle Horse Racing Results – 15 March 2015

bingoAside from Carlisle, there was not much going on in UK horse racing results yesterday. Of course, that is to be expected just after the Cheltenham Festival. Thankfully, though, we do have some results to share with you. But first it needs to be pointed out that the going was soft for the hurdles course, while the going was good to soft in places for the chase course.

Lining up in the 14:30 Mothers’ Day Hurdle, Bobs Lord Tara rode to victory at odds of 7/1, ridden by Paul Moloney and trained by Alan Swinbank. Highly favoured horse Burtons Well finished second at 1/5, with Bibi D’Eole third at 8/1.

The highest profile race of the day was the 16:05 Celebrate St Patrick’s Day Handicap Chase, in which Russe Blanc was winner at 5/1. Meanwhile, Fill the Power came second (5/1) and Purcell’s Bridge finished third (25/1).
