Haydock Park features heavily in the minds of horse racing enthusiasts. Quite simply, it is a quality course that attracts competitive horses. The latest UK horse racing results we have to share are from Wednesday 18 March on a day where the going was good to soft, while good in places.
The first race of the day really shook up the action, with the highly favoured 4/1 A Boy Named Suzi not even managing to place. Instead, the finishers of the 14:10 were Purple n’ Gold (8/1), Handiwork (22/1), and Cinders And Ashes (16/1), respectively.
Another competitive race was the 15:50 in which eight runners participated. Similar to the 14:10, favourite horse Roberto Pegasus could not place at odds of 9/4. Stealing the glory was Carrigdhoun at extremely long but highly rewarding odds of 25/1. Galway Jack came second (9/2), with Rowdy Rocher finished third (13/2).
