To help you prepare for Hexham Racecourse today, we have checked out a couple of horse racing naps from Sky Sports. The going has been forecast as good for Tuesday (26 May).
The 18:10 Maiden Hurdle will present somewhat of a warm-up for race-goers, with the hotly contested 18:40 Handicap Hurdle coming not long after.
Samedi Soir has identified as a 3/1 favourite by Sky Sports, but the five-year-old has not won in seven races. A horse in much better form is the 7/1 Burnt Sienna. From six races, the five-year-old has a win, a second, and two thirds.
For the 19:10 Handicap Chase, the favourite looks like a superior prospect compared to the 18:40 favourite. Scarlet Fire has won twice in seven races, also finishing second once and third three times. You can expect to get odds of approximately 11/4 for the in-form eight-year-old.
