Hexham Racing Results – 20 April 2015


Hexham is a small but charming racecourse just south of the River Tyne. Weather conditions were sunny and the going was good for the eight races held on Monday (20 April).

Captain Hox won as favourite at 1/2 in the 13:30 National Hunt Novices Hurdle, which was the first of the UK horse racing results yesterday. Definite Solider then won at 9/4 ahead of joint-favourite Alto Des Mottes in the 14:00 Maiden Hurdle.

Civil Unrest claimed the 14:35 Handicap Chase at 5/1, which was followed by a win for Central Flame at 7/2 in the 15:10 Handicap Hurdle.

Resolute Reformer then emerged victorious as favourite at 9/4 in the 15:40 Handicap Chase. Beggar’s Velvet was the next winner at 2/1 in the 16:10 Hunters Chase.

Cloudy Dream claimed the penultimate race at 3/1 in the 16:40 National Hunt Flat Race, with Emperor Sakhee rounding things off as 8/1 winner of the 17:10 National Hunt Flat Race.
