Kempton Park Results Recap – 27 May 2015

Kempton Park and its all-weather surface provides a consistent track for runners. Generally, the reliable surface allows for a healthy percentage of favourites to win. Yet again, a number of favourites were able to win in Wednesday’s UK horse racing results at Kempton Park.

Embankment started the evening by winning at 7/1 in the 18:40 Handicap, winning ahead of 5/2 favourite Windy Citi. A thrilling 19:10 Maiden Stakes saw 9/4 favourite Tumbaga win in front of joint-9/4 favourite Tuco.

Exchequer made it a second for the favourites at 11/4 in the 19:40 Handicap. Sonnolento then prevented a streak by winning at 10/1 in the 20:10 Handicap, leaving favourite Dannyday in third at 13/8.

Tagula also left a favourite in third, winning at 16/1 in the 20:40 Handicap ahead of 9/4 Doctor Sardonicus. Fredric Chopin was the third favourite to bring it home, winning at 5/4 in the concluding 21:10 Handicap.
