Newmarket Horse Racing Results – 14 May 2015

Newmarket Racecourse started off good to firm (good in places) before changing to good after the third race of the day. The track softened slightly because of rain, but that helped to quicken the course. Here are your UK horse racing results from Thursday (14 May 2015).

Vallance Road emerged as a surprising 16/1 winner in the 17:15 Maiden Auction Stakes, followed by a win at shorter odds of 4/1 when Squire claimed the 17:50 Handicap. Resonant then defeated 8/11 favourite Fallen For A Star at 5/1 in the 18:25 Maiden Stakes.

Jamie Spencer then rode 11/1 Excellent Puck to victory in the 18:55 Handicap, with Angel Vision then taking the 19:25 Maiden Fillies Stakes at 5/1.

A remarkably surprising win then came for the 50/1 Theydon Bois in the 20:00 Fillies Handicap. Yorkshire Dales was the final victor of the day at 5/1 in the 20:30 Handicap.
