Royal Ascot 2015 Results: Day Three – 18 June 2015

Royal Ascot Ladies Day is historically reserved for day three of the iconic UK horse racing festival. And all of the ladies who attended on Wednesday will have appreciated the sunny weather allowing them to don their finest outfits. These were the UK horse racing results yesterday.

Good to firm conditions enabled Waterloo Bridge to race to victory at 12/1 in the 14:30 Norfolk Stakes opener. Time Test won next as 15/8 favourite in the 15:05 Tercentenary stakes. A win then came for 9/2 Curvy at the expense of evens favourite Pleascach in the 15:40 Ribblesdale Stakes.

The highest profile victory of the day came when 12/1 outsider Trip To Paris raced to victory ahead of 5/2 joint-favourites Kingfisher and Forgotten Rules in the 16:20 Gold Cup. War Envoy won next at 10/1 in the 17:00 Britannia Stakes, leaving Space Age to finish the day at 9/1 in the 17:35 King George V Stakes.
