Stratford Horse Racing Results – 9 March


There were many interesting UK horse racing results yesterday, with Stratford hosting a number of eye-catching Class 4 races on the eve of the Cheltenham Festival. Taking place on Monday 9 March 2015, the weather was overcast and the going was classified as good to soft.

Kicking off the afternoon was the Class 3 14:10 Juvenile Hurdle. Featuring a prize pot of £5,380.50, New Street rode to victory with odds of 9/2. Finishing in second was El Beau (15/8F), while Albahar (5/1) came in third.

Kicking things up a notch was the 15:10 WNAA Handicap Chase. This Class 3 race boasted a £6,330 prize pot. Winning the race was Don’t Do Mondays (16/1), followed by Midnight Lira (12/1) and then Call Me Vic (2/1F).

Soon after, Astre De La Cour (4/1J) clinched first in the 15:40 Handicap Hurdle. The Class 4 race offered a prize pot of £6,498.
