Royal Windsor Racecourse hosted seven races in the UK horse racing results yesterday evening. Race-goers had lots of action to savour, but there was a slight dampener when the overcast sky burst with rain during races four and five. Consequently, the going was good to soft (good in places).

Emerging as the first victor of the day was Reginald Claude at 8/1 in the 18:00 Apprentice Handicap. Stepping up next was 1/5 favourite Hillgrove Angel in the 18:30 Selling Stakes. Alizoom was the next favourite to win, claiming the 19:00 Maiden Stakes at 6/4.

Essenaitch broke up the brief spell of dominance from the favourites by winning at 11/1 in the 19:30 Maiden Stakes, but Edge of Heaven then won as 8/11 favourite in the 20:00 Fillies Handicap.

Winner of the 20:30 Handicap was 9/4 Keep in Line, with Choral Festival being the final victor at 11/4 in the 21:00 Handicap.

Sandown Park is a worth a visit on Wednesday evening, as six competitive races have been line up. After checking out the schedule, it is clear that the 19:40 Handicap is the standout race. Open to horses aged three or older, a total of eight runners have been entered.

The Racing Post has updated its UK horse ratings speed ratings to let us analyse the contenders. At present, Early Morning has been rated quickest at 89. The four-year-old has also been in great form, winning once and coming second twice in its last three races. Early Morning is currently 3/1 favourite.

Starlight Symphony is another quick prospect at 85, but does not quite measure up on form. The five-year-old has only ever managed two victories from 26 career races. Next in the rankings we have Ifwecan at 81, but this horse has only three wins from 29.

Lingfield Park Horse Racing Tips – 15 July 2015

Lingfield Park has an extremely busy schedule lined up for Wednesday afternoon, with races coming every 30 minutes. Some of the races are more important than others, with the 15:10 Stakes certain to be a highlight. A prize fund with £11,500 has been stumped up, drawing six competitors for the race.

Today’s racing tips come via Sky Sports and suggest Muffri’Ha is the favourite at 2/1, yet the three-year-old has only managed to win once from seven career races. That is not exactly the record of a favourite.

Third Time Lucky is in superior form right now, having won three races in a row, and offers more lucrative odds of 5/2. Another competitor to keep an eye on is Pretty Bubbles at 10/3. The bay mare has two thirds, three seconds, and one victory in its last five races. Muffri’Ha has not performed close to that level.
