Another Royal managed to upset 15/8 favourite Sleeping Apache to clinch the 15:30 Handicap at 9/2. Stepping up next was 7/2 Gran Canaria Queen in the 16:00 Fillies Handicap.

Entering the back half of the afternoon, Ingleby Hollow managed to win at 14/1 in the 16:30 Handicap. Paint The Star proved its star quality by winning at 15/8 in the 17:00 Stakes, with Piccadilly Jim winning at 11/4 in the 17:30 Handicap.
