A few days are all that separate us from Royal Ascot 2015, but before then we have an impressive slate of races lined up for Saturday (13 June). Although showers have been forecast, it is expected that the racing surface will be good to firm at York Racecourse.
From today’s racing tips over at Sky Sports, our focus is entirely on the 15:45 888sport Charity Sprint. Twenty horses in total will compete for the lion’s share of the £100,000 prize fund.
Scalzo is the clear favourite from the three-year-olds. Two wins from two races have driven Scalzo’s odds down to 7/2. Twilight Son comes next at 4/1, winner of three from its last four races.
Form then drops off a little for the remaining horses. For instance, Northgate Lad is available at 8/1 with two seconds and a win from its last five. Meanwhile, Roossey is also 10/1 after winning twice from five.
