Royal Hunt Cup Horse Racing Naps – 17 June 2015

After the 16:20 Prince of Wales Stakes, the next most important race for day two of Royal Ascot 2015 is the 17:00 Royal Hunt Cup. Open to horses three and older, this year’s race has attracted a packed field of 30 entrants. The going is likely to be good (good to firm in places) for this hotly contested race.

In looking through the latest free horse racing naps from Sky Sports, it would appear that there are a couple of interesting options. On the back of three-straight wins, Speculative Bid has been earmarked as an 8/1 favourite and will be ridden by Jamie Spencer.

From the three 10/1 prospects just behind, Spark Plug looks the most appealing after winning and coming second in its last two races. For an outside prospect, Dark Emerald has won two and finished second three times in its past seven. Dark Emerald is available at 20/1.

Princes of Wales Stakes Preview – 17 June 2015

For analysis ahead of the race, it is time to check out the daily speed ratings from the Racing Post. At present, Free Eagle is rated quickest with 129. Free Eagle is also favourite at 9/4 and has won two from five.

Ectot is an intriguing prospect after winning three from five, and is in second with a 125 rating. The four-year-old is also second-favourite for the race at 9/2. Winner of three from its six races, Western Hymm has a 122 rating and is available at 13/2.

Chile and Mexico Play 3-3 Thriller in Copa America

Chile and Mexico played out a stunning 3-3 thriller in Group A of the 2015 Copa America, giving the world a truly memorable result in the yesterday match results (Monday 15 June).

As current hosts, Chile are under pressure to perform in front of their home crowd. After winning their first game 2-0 against Ecuador, they were primed to seize control of Group A. Of course, Mexico had other plans.

Following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Bolivia, Mexico absolutely could not lose against Chile. And while a win would have been better, it was always going to be an immense challenge to battle with the likes of Alexis Sánchez and Arturo Vidal.

And it was the dynamic Vidal who had to level the game at 1-1 after Mexico scored first. Mexico then made it 2-1 before Chile equalised. Chile then took a 3-2 lead in this sea-saw game before Mexico levelled after 66 minutes.
